Lady Scarlet may shock Buckingham in PBMM (Gr 1)

THE GR 1, Poonawalla Breeders' Multi-Million, is the prime attraction of Sunday's evening card at Mahalaxmi, in which two colts (Invictor & Enrich) and two fillies (Blue Jet & Lady Scarlet) will try to stand in the way of Buckingham, the Karthik-trained colt who will be bidding for a first hattrick by a there-year-old this season. 

 

It will be a no-holds-barred battle for the title of the champion juvenile of the crop of 2023, and I expect the vastly improved Invictor (David Allan up) trained by Altmash Ahmed, and the filly with the highest Dynamic Class Factor, Lady Scarlet (P Trevor up), trained by Adhirajsingh, to put up a bold show. The last-named gets my first nomination.
