Kings Gambit for Eve Champion Trophy (Gr 3)

PUNE: The Eve Champion Trophy (Gr 3), to be run over the trip of 2000m at the Pune monsoon racetrack on Sunday, has attracted only four runners--three of them from the yard of trainer Pesi Shroff. Of course, Shroff's prime contender is Kings Gambit, the four-year-old filly to be ridden by Yash Narredu, who has just returned from Bangalore after summering there. Taking on the Shroff trio is Dream Alliance from veteran trainer Imtiaz Sait's stable, and he will be ridden by Antony Raj. Kings Gambit is expected to win the Eve Champion Trophy.
