Endurance for Suresh Mahindra Trophy

The Suresh Mahindra Trophy for Class I has only three runners in the fray: Winfield, Golden Dancer and Endurance. 

 

Personally, one feels that kilo-for-kilo, Winfield is the better horse of the three thanks to her rather close finish behind Elysium and Kavya in a grade 3 race eight days ago; but ironically, when one factors in the handicap assigned to the three runners, one is forced to doubt that assessment because with the top weight of 59 kg, she has to give 5 kg and more to her two rivals over the trip of 3200m. The race is best left alone from the betting point of view.
